# Autheo Foundation

> The Autheo Foundation is a Wyoming nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization and the independent steward of the Autheo open-source ecosystem, a Layer-0 Operating System integrated with a Layer-1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK. The Foundation drives developer adoption, transparent governance, grants, and community growth for the decentralized web.

The Autheo network features full EVM compatibility, IBC cross-chain interoperability via Cosmos SDK, post-quantum identity modules, and a unified architecture that merges Layer-0 and Layer-1 functionality. The Foundation funds developers, researchers, and teams building public goods on the Autheo network through grants, hackathons, education programs, and an ambassador program.
