# Assetli

> Personal finance and household app with an AI assistant. Import bank statements, track
> accounts, investments (stocks, ETFs, crypto, other investments), real estate, vehicles,
> valuables, loans and mortgages, budgets and subscriptions in one place, and connect your
> data to Claude, ChatGPT or another MCP client.

Assetli keeps the whole household balance sheet in one place: bank accounts and transactions,
investments, real estate, vehicles, valuables, loans and mortgages, budgets and goals,
subscriptions and household energy. On top of that data it runs an AI assistant, both inside
the app and through a remote MCP server.

## What Assetli is not

- **Not a bank aggregator.** Assetli never connects to your bank and never stores bank login credentials. Data comes from statement files, manual entry, email import, or an optional sync from the Wallet by BudgetBakers app.
- **Not a tax calculator.** For investments it tracks the holding-period test of your market and links to the official source. Outside the Czech market it does not compute tax amounts.
- **Not an advisor.** The AI explains and summarises your own data; it does not recommend specific financial products.
- **Language, currency and market are independent settings.** Totals are converted to your display currency (ECB rates); individual records keep their own currency.

## Key features

- **Statement import** — the format is detected from the file content: international standards (camt.053, MT940, OFX/QFX/QBO, QIF), national formats (GPC/ABO, Norma 43, CFONB, CBI, CODA, Elixir), Excel, PDF and CSV from any bank. An automated test verifies 203 bank export formats from 31 countries plus 28 PDF statement layouts. Unknown CSV can be mapped by hand or with AI. Duplicates are detected.
- **Email import (Premium, Max)** — forward a statement to your own secret address; transactions wait for your approval.
- **Wallet by BudgetBakers sync (Premium, Max)** — optional automatic sync through your own Wallet account.
- **Investments** — broker accounts, stocks and ETFs with live prices, dividends, crypto (FIFO/LIFO/HIFO), other investments, holding-period view per market.
- **Real estate, vehicles, valuables, loans and mortgages** — values, costs, rental cash flow, utility readings, total cost of ownership.
- **Budgets, goals, subscriptions, shared expenses** — 50/30/20 and envelope templates, renewal reminders, Splitwise-style groups with multiple currencies.
- **Analytics** — overview, cash flow, categories, savings & investments, forecast, spending patterns, a financial health score (0–850, 7 components) and a weekly **AI review** of your finances.
- **AI assistant** — in-app chat with 47 tools over your own data; it can also add records after showing a preview.
- **Multi-profile** — independent financial profiles under one login: Free 1, Premium 5, Max 15.
- **Family Legacy (Premium, Max)** — secured emergency access to your financial overview for trusted contacts.

## AI pricing

- Every AI feature (chat, AI review, AI categorization, AI column mapping, scanned statements, vacation planner suggestions, property check assessment) is paid from **one monthly money budget** included in the plan: Free $0.40 · £0.35 · €0.40 · 10 CZK · 1.70 PLN, Premium $3 · £2.60 · €3 · 75 CZK · 12.90 PLN, Max $8 · £6.90 · €8 · 200 CZK · 34.50 PLN.
- Actual token usage is charged. There is no message or operation counter.
- The budget can be topped up with a one-time purchase ($5–$50 · £4–£40 · €5–€50 · 100–1,000 CZK · 15–150 PLN).
- On Premium and Max you can add your own API key for Anthropic, OpenAI or Google Gemini; calls on your key are not charged by Assetli.
- Categorization rules run first and are free; AI categorization is optional.

## AI integration (MCP)

- **Remote MCP server:** `https://assetli.app/api/mcp` (JSON-RPC over Streamable HTTP). Add it as a custom connector in Claude, ChatGPT or any MCP client.
- **Authentication:** OAuth 2.1 with PKCE and Dynamic Client Registration. The user signs in, picks one profile and grants `read` or `read`+`write` on a consent screen. No API key or password is shared with the AI client.
- **47 tools:** reading (accounts, transactions, spending, budgets, investments, properties, vehicles, mortgages, valuables, net worth, financial score, tax view, FIRE progress, cash flow prediction, glossary…) and writing with a preview → confirm pattern (transactions, stock and crypto trades, utility readings, valuables, budgets, bank CSV import). There are no delete tools.
- **Plans:** reading on every plan; writing and import on Premium and Max.
- **Privacy:** the conversation stays in the AI client; Assetli receives only tool calls. Reads are not logged; writes are kept in an audit log for 12 months.

- Field-level AES-256-GCM encryption for account numbers, IBANs, account notes, sync tokens, two-factor secrets, your own AI API keys and Family Legacy notes.
- OAuth tokens and API keys are stored only as SHA-256 hashes.
