AskCodi is two products on one balance. **Agency** owns software work end to end: it reads a repository, delegates to specialist agents, and leaves an auditable receipt for every change. **AI Gateway** gives any OpenAI-compatible client access to models from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI, Moonshot and others through a single endpoint and a single key.

- The product is an AI engineering platform, not a code-completion plugin. Agency opens pull requests a human reviews; it does not commit unreviewed work.
- The gateway is OpenAI-API-compatible, so existing OpenAI SDK code works by changing the base URL and key. The base URL is https://api.askcodi.com.
- The desktop app runs agents locally in isolated git worktrees and requires an account to download.
