# Ask A Vet Last updated: 2026-10-02 > Ask A Vet is a pet-care company built by veterinarians: a vet-designed pet ID tag with a QR and NFC finder profile, a GPS and health tracker for dogs and cats, the Ask A Vet app with vet chat and telehealth, 61 free calculators and tools for pet owners and vets, and a large blog written and reviewed by a registered veterinarian. This site is the Ask A Vet storefront and content hub. It sells two products, the Smart ID Tag and the GPS tracker, and carries the app's pages, the free tools, the blog and the company and policy pages. Prices are shown per market. The storefront picks a market and currency from the shopper's country, so a price read from one page is only valid for that market; pass the buyer's country and currency when an accurate quote matters. This is a headless storefront built on Next.js over the Shopify Storefront API. The pages, the cart and the content are served by this app, and so is the UCP merchant profile at /.well-known/ucp, which this host serves itself, mirrored from the store's Shopify origin and cached, with no redirect.
