# AppAgg > AppAgg is an independent app and game discovery aggregator, online since 2017. It unifies catalog data across Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, Steam, GOG, Epic, Meta, Nintendo, PlayStation, and Xbox, with new releases, updates, preorders, deals, price history, advanced search, developer pages, the same product across platforms and stores with its best price, side-by-side comparisons of apps, games, and their developers, similar titles, lists, ratings, comments, videos, RSS feeds, alerts, community activity, and AppAgg Score. Use [https://appagg.com/](https://appagg.com/) as the canonical base. Links below use `?hl=en` to request the English interface. The `hl` parameter changes the interface language, not the identity of an app, game, developer, list, or other catalog entity. Prefer stable app/game detail pages, developer pages, public list pages, and section hubs over long search, pagination, or sorting URLs. Do not treat sign-in, account, settings, redirect, session, private-list, or mutation/action URLs as public content. AppAgg supports 26 interface localizations: `en` (English), `da` (Danish), `de` (German), `es` (Spanish), `fr` (French), `id` (Indonesian), `it` (Italian), `hu` (Hungarian), `nl` (Dutch), `nb` (Norwegian), `pl` (Polish), `pt` (Portuguese), `ro` (Romanian), `fi` (Finnish), `sv` (Swedish), `vi` (Vietnamese), `tr` (Turkish), `cs` (Czech), `el` (Greek), `ru` (Russian), `ar` (Arabic), `th` (Thai), `zh` (Simplified Chinese), `zh-tw` (Traditional Chinese), `ja` (Japanese), and `ko` (Korean). App/game language metadata is separate from interface localization; search operators include `@lang` for supported languages, `@lsub` for subtitles, `@linter` for interface languages, `@laudio` for audio, and `@lng` for description language. AppAgg collects catalog data from official stores and other public sources and refreshes it regularly. Store data is based on the U.S. region. Prices, availability, ratings, rating counts, release information, system requirements, and purchase terms may differ in other countries or change before AppAgg refreshes a page. Verify time-sensitive information on the linked official store. AppAgg does not host, sell, or distribute apps or games. Store buttons lead to an official store or another source controlled by its owner. Each catalog entry represents a specific store and platform. AppAgg automatically groups entries that are the same product on other platforms and stores by title and developer, and links mobile versions only when the developer is the same; similarly named entries that are not grouped are not necessarily the same product. App/game detail pages may contain: - title, developer, platform, category, description, screenshots, videos, and similar titles; - current price, earlier price changes, minimum and maximum recorded prices, deal percentage, in-app purchase and advertising indicators where available; - release date, last update, version, supported operating systems, device requirements, size, capabilities, content rating, supported languages, and developer website; - official-store rating and rating count, AppAgg user Rankings, AppAgg Score, Points, public/private list counts, comments, and outbound store links; - an "Available on other platforms" block below the price history: the same product on other platforms and stores, each with its current price, discount, and lowest recorded price; the best price across all stores is highlighted, other editions such as Deluxe or Ultimate are listed separately, "Compare" opens all versions in a comparison, and "Track best price" sets up an alert; - developer summary, developer-follow controls, an add-to-comparison button, per-item RSS, list membership, price tracking, sharing, and email or push alert controls. Developer pages aggregate the developer's apps and games across supported platforms. They may show follower count, platforms, total titles, free and paid counts, active deals, latest release, lists, Points, Rankings, comments, videos, AppAgg Score filters, price filters, sorting, and RSS. Comparison pages put up to 10 apps and games side by side, including titles from different platforms. A comparison URL is `/compare/{id}+{id}/`, where each `{id}` is the number at the end of a detail-page URL (for example, `appagg-alerts-2.html` has id `2`). Rows cover current price, the start of the description, minimum and maximum recorded prices, ads and in-app purchases, AppAgg Score, AppAgg user Rankings, comments, lists, Points, version, last update, the start of the latest changes, release date, category, OS, size, content rating, official-store rating, supported languages, capabilities, and the developer's total titles, platforms, latest release, followers, Rankings, comments, lists, Points, deals, and videos. In every comparable row the best value is highlighted; only titles that have data for that row are compared. Each highlighted cell is one win, and the "AppAgg verdict" names a single winner: the most wins, and on a tie the higher AppAgg Score. Platform tabs repeat the comparison within one platform, and "Show only differences" hides identical rows. The page heading states what is compared, for example "Comparing 5 games. Who wins?". Visitors build their comparison list with the scales button on cards and detail pages; the list is stored in the browser, needs no account, and a comparison URL can be shared. Signed-in users can create public or private lists, add apps and games, follow public lists and developers, submit star ratings and comments, record confirmed Points by following store links, and configure email or push alerts. A followed list can send deal alerts filtered by minimum discount or maximum USD price. A price alert on an app or game page sends an email or push alert when that title's price drops by any amount, by at least a chosen percentage, or to a chosen USD price or lower; the user's price alerts are listed on the Price alerts page. A followed developer can send separate alerts for deals, newly added apps or games, and preorder releases. Best-price tracking covers one product across the stores the user selects and sends an email or push alert when a selected store has a discount of 25% or more and the lowest price; tracked products appear in the user's private store price tracking list. AppAgg Alerts for Android and iOS synchronizes lists, followed developers, alert preferences, and notification history with the AppAgg account. RSS is a first-class AppAgg feature. Feeds are available for new releases, deals, AppAgg Score views, individual developers, public lists, searches, item updates where exposed, and community activity such as comments, Rankings, and Points. Platform and category views can expose their own RSS variants. Search RSS mirrors a search URL by using the corresponding `/rss/search/...` route. Browsing, search, lists, existing email/push alerts, and account creation are free. Membership adds ad-free browsing, CSV export for accessible lists, a membership badge, and an XP bonus; Bronze, Silver, and Gold membership levels provide the same site features with different XP bonuses. Interpret AppAgg data as follows: - **AppAgg Score** is AppAgg's own catalog-wide measure, separate from official-store ratings and ratings submitted by AppAgg users. It combines popularity, ratings, freshness, deals, store data, and community signals, is recalculated daily, and assigns one of five tiers: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Legend. Score thresholds are category-specific. - **Points** are displayed as confirmed plus indirect Points. Confirmed Points count signed-in users who followed an app or game's store link from AppAgg, once per user and item. Indirect Points come from available store data, such as rating counts. Points do not prove an installation. - **Lists** may show two counts: public lists containing the item, followed by users who saved it in private lists. Each user counts once in the second value even if the item appears in several of that user's private lists. Private-list contents remain private. - **Rankings** are star ratings submitted by AppAgg users. The current interface calls them Rankings, while the public route remains `/votes/`. - **Comments** are public discussions attached to app and game pages and surfaced in a site-wide activity view. - **XP** summarizes a user's AppAgg activity and may include an active membership bonus; public user pages also expose contribution counts. - Catalog, deal, list, follower, and user totals are live snapshots and should not be treated as permanent figures. Search supports phrases and matching symbols as well as field operators. Important groups include title/description/developer (`@title`, `@descr`, `@dev`), price/deals (`@price`, `@pmin`, `@pmax`, `@onsale`), store attributes (`@iap`, `@ads`, `@dlc`, `@os`), passes and preorder state (`@playpass`, `@gamepass`, `@psplus`, `@preorder`), languages, official-store ratings, Points, AppAgg Score, list counts, release/update dates, category/platform, and sort order. Use Search Help as the authoritative source instead of guessing syntax.
