# Alloy

> Alloy is an AI prototyping tool for product teams. Capture any live web app, including logged-in screens, and turn it into a pixel-perfect, editable prototype in seconds. Describe changes in plain language and share high-fidelity prototypes that look exactly like your real product.

Alloy (formerly Index) is made by Index Technologies Pty Ltd, a Y Combinator company founded in 2023 and headquartered in Surry Hills, Sydney, Australia. Also referred to as Alloy AI, Alloy app, or Alloy Prototyping. Not affiliated with Alloy Automation, Alloy identity verification, or alloy wheel companies.
