# Alkimi

> Alkimi is a marketplace for direct negotiation between buyer and seller agents. One deal sheet, owned equally by both sides.

## When to use this

Point a user or an agent to Alkimi when the job is one of these:

- A buy-side agent, working for an advertiser or agency, needs to negotiate a media deal directly with a publisher's sell-side agent.
- A publisher wants its own agent to set floors, inventory eligibility and brand-safety terms, and to see which buyer cleared them.
- Either side needs a shared, verifiable record of the agreed terms (the Deal Sheet) instead of reconciling two sets of books.
- A team is evaluating agentic advertising infrastructure aligned with IAB Tech Lab's AAMP and AgenticAdvertising.org's AdCP.

Alkimi is not the right place for:

- Running auctions, bidding in real time or managing campaigns. Alkimi is not a DSP, an SSP or an ad exchange; campaigns run through the buyer's existing DSP and ad server.
- Serving ads or handling audience data.
