# Aegis Software

> Aegis Software makes manufacturing operations software for complex discrete manufacturers. Its two products are FactoryLogix, a manufacturing execution system (MES), and Simio, simulation, scheduling, and digital twin software. FactoryLogix runs production on the shop floor. Simio predicts how an operation will behave before a change is made. Both products work from the same operational data.

Aegis has delivered manufacturing software for more than 30 years. FactoryLogix runs in more than 2,200 factories across 22+ countries. Customers include manufacturers in aerospace and defense, electronics, medical devices, automotive, industrial machinery, and consumer goods.

- Simio also serves operations outside manufacturing, including airports, healthcare, and logistics.
- FactoryLogix adapts to new products, processes, and sites through configuration rather than custom code.
- Customers can start with one process or one line and add capabilities later, or deploy across multiple facilities from the start.
- FactoryLogix supports regulated environments, including AS9100, ITAR, ISO 13485, and 21 CFR Part 11.
- FactoryLogix connects to existing ERP and PLM systems. It does not replace them.
