AcornReply is one inbox where chat, email and a help center land together, flat per organization. - [Tawk.to alternative](https://acornreply.com/solutions/tawk-to-alternative): Tawk.to is free to use and it is chat only. AcornReply puts chat, email and a help center in one inbox, with a free tier of its own. ## Guides - [How to add a shared inbox to Outlook](https://acornreply.com/guides/add-a-shared-inbox-to-outlook): To add a shared inbox to Outlook, a Microsoft 365 admin creates a shared mailbox and grants your team access; it then shows up in each person's Outlook automatically. - [How to set up a shared inbox in Gmail](https://acornreply.com/guides/add-a-shared-inbox-to-gmail): Gmail has no built-in shared inbox, so teams use one of three workarounds: Google Groups Collaborative Inbox, mailbox delegation in Google Workspace, or a shared login. Each shares the mail but none tracks who is replying to what. - [How to set up a support email](https://acornreply.com/guides/set-up-a-support-email): To set up a support email, create a role address like support@yourcompany.com, route it to a place your whole team can see, and set clear expectations for replies. - [Shared inbox vs distribution list](https://acornreply.com/guides/shared-inbox-vs-distribution-list): A distribution list copies an email to everyone with no shared state; a shared inbox is one place where the team sees who is replying and what is still open. - [How to send email from a shared mailbox](https://acornreply.com/guides/send-email-from-a-shared-mailbox): To send email from a shared mailbox, add the shared address to your own account as a send-as address in Gmail, or hold Send As permission on the mailbox in Microsoft 365, then set the From field to that address before you send. - [Google Groups collaborative inbox setup](https://acornreply.com/guides/google-groups-collaborative-inbox): A Google Groups Collaborative Inbox is a Google Group with assignment and resolve status switched on, so members can take, assign, and close the conversations sent to the group address from groups.google.com. - [How to turn support email into tickets](https://acornreply.com/guides/turn-support-email-into-tickets): To turn support email into tickets, route your support address into a tool that opens one tracked record per conversation, threads later replies onto that same record using the message headers, and gives every record a status and an owner. - [How to move off a ticketing tool](https://acornreply.com/guides/move-off-a-ticketing-tool): To move off a ticketing tool, forward your support address to the new inbox so new conversations land there, keep the old tool read-only for history, and switch once the new inbox is answering. - [How to write a support reply fast](https://acornreply.com/guides/write-a-support-reply-fast): To write a support reply fast, answer the exact question first, reuse a draft or template for the common shape, and add the one detail specific to this customer. ## Trust & policy - [Privacy](https://acornreply.com/privacy): what we collect, share, retain - [Terms](https://acornreply.com/terms): terms of service - [Legal](https://acornreply.com/legal): operating entity and disclosures ## Positioning AcornReply is a customer support inbox for teams under ten people. The AI drafts each reply from your own help articles and a learned voice profile, and by default a human edits and hits send. Autonomous reply modes exist but are opt-in and off until an admin turns them on (see the ai_mode setting: off, deflect, reply_always, reply_no_agent). Channels: forwarded support email; live chat (real-time bubble, email follow-up if the visitor leaves); web contact form via hosted page, inline iframe, or launcher button; developer API. Pricing is flat per organization, not per seat. On mobile there is a [native iPhone app](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/support-inbox-acornreply/id6808108592) and a [native Android app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.acornreply.app), both with push notifications; tablets and desktop use the web app, which installs as a PWA with web push. Built on Next.js 16, Postgres, and Postmark by PerfSpot LLC; operated at acornreply.com.
