# Aanmeegam (ஆன்மிகம்)

> Aanmeegam.org is a bilingual (Tamil and English) spiritual resource covering Hindu temples, mantras/slokas, festivals, vratams (fasting observances), and daily spiritual practice, along with free astrology and panchangam-style calendar tools - serving Tamil-speaking readers worldwide.

Founded in 2019 by Dinesh and now co-run with his wife Uma, the site publishes over 1,000 articles: temple histories and visiting information, sloka/stotram lyrics with meanings and benefits, festival and vratam dates, and everyday spiritual guidance. Content is Tamil-first (served at the site root, `/`), with a parallel and growing English section under `/en/`. Not every Tamil article has an English counterpart yet, and vice versa.
